  • 2 cups raw peanuts
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a bowl, combine peanuts, salt, and chili powder (if desired), and mix well.

  3. Carefully add the seasoned peanuts to the hot oil, making sure they are fully submerged.

  4. Fry the peanuts for about 10-15 minutes or until they turn golden brown, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.

  5. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the fried peanuts to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.

  6. Let the peanuts cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
