How To Make Christmas Dinner Sausage Roll
A delicious and festive sausage roll perfect for Christmas dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package of puff pastry sheets
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: cranberry sauce for dipping
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the ground sausage, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, sage, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets into rectangles.

Spread the sausage mixture evenly onto the puff pastry sheets, leaving a small border around the edges.

Roll up the pastry tightly, sealing the edges by pressing down gently.

Place the sausage rolls onto the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.

Brush the tops of the sausage rolls with the beaten egg.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.

Serve hot with cranberry sauce for dipping, if desired.
