Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
Total: 35 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 sea bass fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the sea bass fillets with salt and pepper.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sea bass fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent and fragrant, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add the chicken broth and white wine to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Add the spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.

  6. Return the sea bass fillets to the skillet, nestling them into the spinach mixture. Cover the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the sea bass is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  7. Serve the braised sea bass on a bed of spinach. Enjoy!
