How To Make Sausage & Pesto Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup of pesto sauce
  • 1/2 pound of Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup of sliced red onions
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  3. Transfer the dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone.

  4. Spread the pesto sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

  5. Top the pizza with the cooked sausage, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, black olives, and red onions.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

  9. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and slice into pieces.

  10. Serve and enjoy!
