How To Make Sausage & Tomato Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 ounces Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  3. Transfer the dough to a greased pizza stone or baking sheet.

  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

  6. Top with the cooked sausage, cherry tomatoes, and black olives.

  7. Season with salt and pepper.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.

  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

  10. Sprinkle the chopped fresh basil on top.

  11. Slice and serve hot.
