
How To Make 6-Layer Breakfast Casserole
Have a hearty start of the day with this breakfast casserole that has 6 layers of flavors from creamy eggs on the bottom, then sausage, and jalapeno!

Ingredients
- 6large whole eggs
- ¼cupheavy cream
- 1tspsalt
- ¼tspground black pepper
- 16ozJimmy Dean Hot Roll Sausage,(1 package), cooked, crumbled, drained
- ¼cupjalapeno pepper,¼-inch dice
- ½cupcheddar cheese,shredded
- 2tbspgarlic,minced
- 1tspcumin,ground
- 4bread slices,½-inch thick
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix the eggs and heavy cream in a bowl with salt and pepper. In a separate bowl, place the sausage, jalapeno pepper, cheese, garlic, and cumin.

Place â…“ of the amount of egg mixture in the bottom of a 2-quart baking dish. Then, place a slice of bread into the dish. Add â…“ of the amount of sausage mixture from the previous onto the slice of bread.

Repeat until the last slice of bread is on top. Add the remaining â…“ of sausage ingredients evenly across the top slice of bread.

Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

To save time, 1 package of 9.6 oz fully-cooked Jimmy Dean Hearty Sausage Crumbles may be substituted for one 16 oz roll of fresh breakfast sausage in most dishes.
