How To Make Sausage, Apple & Sage Roll

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 sausages
  • 1 apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle.

  3. Cut the sheet into 4 equal squares.

  4. Place a sausage in the center of each square.

  5. Top with diced apple and chopped sage.

  6. Season with salt and pepper.

  7. Fold the edges of the pastry over the sausage and seal the edges.

  8. Brush the pastry with beaten egg.

  9. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the sausages are cooked through.

  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
