How To Make Baked Skinny Fries

Fries don’t always have to be the regular, straight-cut potatoes. Not only are they the best go-to snack for many, but they also they pair excellently with other meals as a fun add-on. Have some not-so-ordinary fries with these best fries recipes.

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide.

  3. Place the potato strips in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  4. Arrange the coated potato strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Bake for about 30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.

  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
