How To Make Cheese & Bacon Scone Pizza

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Desired pizza toppings (e.g. sliced mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, pepperoni)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut it into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in the grated cheddar cheese and cooked bacon.

Add the milk and gently mix until a dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead it a few times until it comes together.

Roll the dough out into a circle or rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.

Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

Add desired pizza toppings on top of the cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
