How To Make Chorizo & Apple Sausage Rolls

Ingredients
- 200g chorizo, finely chopped
- 1 apple, peeled, cored, and finely diced
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

In a large bowl, combine the chorizo, apple, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, dried thyme, and season with salt and pepper.

Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rectangular shapes.

Spoon the chorizo and apple mixture onto one end of each pastry rectangle.

Roll up the pastry tightly, sealing the edges with the beaten egg.

Place the sausage rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
