How To Make Cheese & chutney scones

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups of self-raising flour
- ½ tsp of baking powder
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup of chutney
- 1/2 cup of milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large bowl, combine the self-raising flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add the cold cubed butter to the bowl and use your fingertips to rub it into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.

Stir in the grated cheddar cheese and chutney.

Gradually add the milk, stirring until a soft dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times until smooth.

Roll out the dough to a 1-inch thickness and use a round cookie cutter to cut out scones.

Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve warm with butter or additional chutney.
