Ingredients

  • 8 small tostado shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 cup chutney (mango or tomato)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced jalapenos

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

  2. Place the tostado shells on a baking sheet and sprinkle each one with a tablespoon of shredded cheese.

  3. Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese melts and the tostados are crispy.

  4. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute.

  5. Top each tostado with a spoonful of chutney and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.

  6. If desired, add additional toppings like diced tomatoes or sliced jalapenos.

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
