How To Make Venison Sloppy Joes Recipe

A deer meat twist to the classic Sloppy Joe sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground venison
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the venison, onion, green bell pepper, and garlic until the meat is no longer pink.

  2. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, paprika, cumin, and salt.

  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.

  4. Toast the buns and serve the venison mixture on top.
