How To Make Champorado

Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine the glutinous rice and water. Bring to a boil and let it cook until the rice is soft and fully cooked.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt with a little water to make a smooth paste.

  3. Pour the cocoa mixture into the pot with the cooked rice. Stir well until the mixture thickens and reaches a porridge consistency.

  4. Add the evaporated milk and condensed milk. Stir until well combined.

  5. Serve hot and top with additional milk if desired. Enjoy!
