Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  2. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Continue to cook for another 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sauce has thickened.

  5. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool for a few minutes before serving.
