  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Serve over cooked pasta and enjoy!
