How To Make Tropical Vegan Hot Dogs

Ingredients
- 4 vegan hot dog buns
- 4 vegan sausages
- 1 cup of pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup of diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup of diced red onion
- 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
- 2 tablespoons of lime juice
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.

In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, soy sauce, maple syrup, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.

Place the vegan sausages in the marinade and let them sit for 5 minutes.

Grill the marinated sausages for about 8-10 minutes, rotating occasionally, until heated through and grill marks appear.

While the sausages are grilling, lightly toast the hot dog buns on the grill.

In a separate bowl, mix together the pineapple chunks, diced red bell pepper, diced red onion, and chopped cilantro.

Once the sausages are done, assemble the hot dogs by placing a grilled sausage in each bun and topping with the tropical salsa mixture.
