  • 1 pound gluten-free breakfast sausage
  • 2 tablespoons gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.

  2. In the same skillet, whisk in the gluten-free all-purpose flour, cooking for about 1 minute to cook off the raw flour taste.

  3. Slowly pour in the milk while continuing to whisk. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add the cooked sausage back into the gravy and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until heated through.

  5. Serve the gluten-free sausage gravy over biscuits or toast for a delicious breakfast or brunch.
