  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the caramelized onions, sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. Transfer the dip to a serving dish, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
