How To Make Sourdough and Sausage Dressing Recipe
This hearty stuffing made with sourdough bread and sausage is perfect for any holiday feast.

Ingredients
- 4 cups sourdough bread, cubed
- 1/2 lb sausage, casings removed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat, breaking it into smaller pieces. Cook until browned and no longer pink, about 5 minutes.

Add onion, garlic, and celery and cook until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

Add butter to skillet and cook until melted, stirring occasionally.

In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sausage mixture, parsley, salt, and pepper.

In a separate bowl, whisk together chicken broth and egg.

Pour broth mixture over bread mixture and toss until bread is coated.

Transfer mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.

Bake for 30 minutes.

Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
