Ingredients

  • 4 bratwurst sausages
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan.

  2. Brush bratwursts with olive oil and grill for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.

  3. While the bratwursts are cooking, sauté the onion in a large skillet over medium heat until translucent.

  4. Add sauerkraut to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Pour in the beer and stir until well combined.

  6. Simmer for another 10 minutes.

  7. Serve the bratwursts on a bed of sauerkraut and enjoy!
