How To Make Apple Strudel Recipe
Warm and flaky apple-filled pastry that’s perfect for dessert or breakfast.

Ingredients
- 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 6 sheets of phyllo pastry
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large bowl, mix together the sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, and chopped walnuts.

Lay out one sheet of phyllo pastry and brush it with melted butter.

Repeat step 3 until all sheets of phyllo pastry are used.

Spoon the apple mixture onto the phyllo pastry, leaving a 2-inch border around the edges.

Fold the edges of the phyllo pastry over the apple mixture, tucking the edges in as you go.

Brush the top of the strudel with melted butter.

Bake for 45 minutes or until the phyllo pastry is golden brown.
