How To Make Pear, Chocolate & Marzipan Strudel

Ingredients
- 2 ripe pears, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 100g dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 50g marzipan, grated
- 6 sheets of filo pastry
- 50g unsalted butter, melted
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a bowl, combine the sliced pears, chopped chocolate, and grated marzipan.

Lay 1 sheet of filo pastry on a clean surface and brush with melted butter. Repeat with the remaining sheets, layering them on top of each other.

Spoon the pear, chocolate, and marzipan mixture along the long edge of the filo pastry stack, leaving a 2-inch border.

Fold in the short edges of the pastry and then roll it up tightly.

Transfer the strudel onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top with melted butter.

Bake for 25 minutes or until the pastry is golden and crispy.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.

Cut into slices and serve warm.
