Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 12 white chocolate chips
  • Black frosting or gel

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.

  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  7. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them into squares.

  8. Use the black frosting or gel to make ghost faces on each white chocolate chip and place them on top of each brownie to make spooky ghost brownies.
