  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup non-dairy milk (such as almond or soy)
  • 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips
  • Vegan Halloween-themed cookie decorations (such as tombstones or ghosts)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.

  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate large mixing bowl, mix together vegetable oil, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  4. Gradually stir in dry ingredients mixture and non-dairy milk until fully combined.

  5. Fold in vegan chocolate chips.

  6. Pour mixture into prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  7. Once cooled, add the Halloween-themed cookie decorations to resemble a spooky graveyard.
