A delicious twist on the classic turkey sandwich using leftover Easter turkey and the tartness of cranberry sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup of cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 pound of leftover turkey, sliced
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

  1. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.

  2. On four pieces of bread, add a layer of cranberry sauce, followed by turkey slices, and then a slice of provolone cheese.

  3. Top with the remaining slice of bread.

  4. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat and place the sandwiches in the pan.

  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.

  6. Cut sandwiches in half and serve hot.
