  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together melted butter, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract.

  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

  5. Pour the batter into a greased 8-inch cake pan.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing it and placing it on a wire rack to cool completely.
