How To Make Easter Brunch Cinnamon Rolls

Homemade cinnamon rolls perfect for Easter brunch!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a baking dish.

  2. In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Cut in butter until the mixture is crumbly.

  4. Mix in milk to form dough.

  5. Knead dough on floured surface, then roll out into rectangle.

  6. Brush dough with oil and sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar all over.

  7. Roll the dough up and cut into slices.

  8. Place slices in greased dish and bake for 12-15 minutes.

  9. In a separate bowl, mix powdered sugar and milk to form icing.

  10. Drizzle icing over warm cinnamon rolls and serve immediately.
