How To Make Dry-Brined Pork Chops
The pork chop is among the most popular cuts of meat around the world. And like most cuts of pork, it has a mild meaty flavor that works well with a lot of flavor combos. Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Pat dry the pork chops with paper towels.

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, dried thyme, and paprika.

Rub the salt mixture evenly on both sides of the pork chops. Place them on a plate and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.

Brush the pork chops with olive oil.

Grill or cook the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
