How To Make Mongolian Chicken Recipe
A flavorful stir-fried chicken dish with a sweet and savory sauce, inspired by Mongolian cuisine.

Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions

In a bowl, coat the chicken with cornstarch until evenly coated.

Heat the oil in a wok or large sauté pan over high heat.

Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, ginger powder, red chili flakes (if using), salt, and pepper, and stir to combine.

Return the chicken to the pan, and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.

Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
