How To Make Cheese & Chorizo Skewers

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of chorizo or prosciutto
  • 8 cubes of cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium heat.

  2. Wrap each cube of cheddar cheese with a slice of chorizo or prosciutto.

  3. Thread the skewers, alternating between the cheese and chorizo/prosciutto.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and smoked paprika.

  5. Brush the skewers with the paprika oil mixture.

  6. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the cheese has melted and the chorizo/prosciutto is crispy.

  7. Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh basil leaves.

  8. Serve the skewers hot and enjoy!
