Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
Total: 25 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 lamb steaks
  • 4 flat breads
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Place the lamb steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure each steak is coated evenly. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  4. Cook the lamb steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let them rest for a few minutes.

  5. Warm the flat breads on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.

  6. To serve, place each lamb steak on a flat bread. Fold the bread over and secure with toothpicks, if desired.

  7. Serve the marinated lamb steaks in flat bread with your choice of accompaniments, such as tzatziki sauce, sliced tomatoes, and lettuce.
