How To Make Egg Roll Wrappers

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the water and egg.

  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.

  4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.

  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and cover with a damp cloth. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

  6. Roll out each portion of dough into a thin circle using a rolling pin.

  7. Cut the rolled dough into square wrappers of your desired size.

  8. Repeat with the remaining portions of dough.

  9. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  10. Place one wrapper at a time on the skillet and cook for about 15-20 seconds on each side until lightly browned.

  11. Remove from the skillet and let cool on a wire rack.

  12. Repeat with the remaining wrappers.

  13. Your homemade egg roll wrappers are ready to be used for your favorite egg roll recipes!
