How To Make Turnip and Cauliflower Mash Recipe

Creamy and flavorful mashed turnips and cauliflower, a perfect substitute for mashed potatoes!

Ingredients

  • 1 medium turnip, peeled and cubed
  • 1 small head of cauliflower, roughly chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place turnip cubes, cauliflower, and garlic cloves in a pot and cover with water.

  2. Bring to a boil over high heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.

  3. Drain vegetables and return them to the pot.

  4. Add butter and heavy cream to the pot and mash with a potato masher until smooth.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
