Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 head lettuce, washed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.

  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced onions, and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden.

  3. Add the lettuce to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until slightly wilted.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper.

  5. Pour the sauce over the lettuce and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring the lettuce is evenly coated.

  6. Remove from heat and serve hot as a side dish.
