How To Make Fry Bread Tacos II

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Sour cream and salsa for topping
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add warm water and mix until a soft dough forms.

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat.

On a floured surface, roll out each dough ball into a 6-inch circle.

Carefully place one dough circle into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and puffed up, about 2-3 minutes per side. Repeat with the remaining dough circles.

In a separate pan, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease and stir in taco seasoning according to package instructions.

To assemble the tacos, place a fried bread circle on a plate. Top with a spoonful of seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
