How To Make Habanero Pepper and Peach BBQ Ribs Recipe

Sweet and spicy ribs glazed with a peach and habanero pepper BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks pork ribs
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup peach preserves
  • 1 habanero pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.

  2. Rub the ribs with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Wrap the ribs tightly in foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours.

  4. In a saucepan, combine peach preserves, habanero pepper, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, honey, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Remove ribs from oven and carefully remove foil.

  6. Brush ribs with the BBQ sauce and return to the oven for another 30 minutes, basting occasionally.

  7. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
