  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 oz crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced banana peppers
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Using a sharp knife, cut a horizontal pocket into the thickest part of each chicken breast.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together feta cheese and banana peppers. Stuff each chicken breast with the feta mixture and secure with toothpicks.

  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and sear in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side.

  5. Transfer chicken breasts to a baking dish and bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until fully cooked.

  6. Let chicken cool for a few minutes before removing toothpicks, then slice and serve.
