Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

  2. Steam or boil the cauliflower florets until slightly tender, about 5-6 minutes. Drain well.

  3. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Stir in the minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

  4. In the greased baking dish, layer half of the cauliflower florets. Pour half of the cream mixture over the cauliflower. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese on top.

  5. Repeat the layering process with the remaining cauliflower, cream mixture, and shredded cheddar cheese.

  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
