Ingredients

  • 1 butternut squash
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.

  3. Place the squash halves, cut side up, on a baking sheet.

  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the squash and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  5. Use your hands to rub the seasonings and oil evenly over the squash.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the squash is tender and golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
