- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent.

Add the green beans to the skillet and stir to coat them in the bacon grease.

Pour in the chicken broth and season with salt and black pepper. Bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the green beans are tender.
