How To Make Bread Pudding II

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of bread, torn into small pieces
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 2 tbsp of butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together bread and milk and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread mixture and stir well.

  5. Pour the melted butter into a baking dish and coat the bottom and sides.

  6. Pour the bread mixture into the baking dish.

  7. Bake for 1 hour until the pudding is set and the top is golden brown.

  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
