  • 4 slices whole wheat bread, crusts removed
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

  2. Tear the bread into bite-sized pieces and place them in the greased dish.

  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the almond milk, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  4. Pour the mixture over the bread, making sure all pieces are soaked.
