- 4 bone-in chicken thighs
- 4 bone-in chicken drumsticks
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon sugar

In a large pot, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, water, minced garlic, peppercorns, bay leaves, and sugar. Stir well to mix.
