How To Make Steak with Chunky Chips & Horseradish Cream

Ingredients
- 4 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your preferred cut)
- 4 large potatoes
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp horseradish sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions

Preheat your grill or frying pan.

Scrub the potatoes and cut them into thick chunky chips.

Boil the chips in salted water for 5 minutes, then drain them well.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F).

Fry the chips in batches for about 5-6 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.

Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.

Cook the steaks on the grill or frying pan over high heat for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare or to your desired doneness.

While the steaks are cooking, mix the sour cream, horseradish sauce, chives, and parsley in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.

Serve the steaks with the chunky chips and a dollop of horseradish cream on the side.
