Ingredients

  • 4 beef fillet steaks (about 6 oz each)
  • 4 slices of prosciutto
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp horseradish
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped dill

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Season the beef fillet steaks with salt and pepper. Wrap each steak with a slice of prosciutto, securing it with a toothpick if needed.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef fillets for about 2 minutes on each side, until nicely browned.

  4. Transfer the fillets to a baking dish and place in the preheated oven. Bake for about 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, or until cooked to your desired doneness.

  5. While the beef is cooking, prepare the horseradish sauce by combining sour cream, horseradish, and fresh chopped dill in a small bowl. Mix well and refrigerate until serving.

  6. Remove the beef fillets from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with the horseradish sauce on the side.
