How To Make Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cups sliced onions
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, chopped onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Shape the mixture into 4 patties.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until browned.

Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until caramelized.

In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, cornstarch, and water until smooth.

Pour the beef broth mixture into the skillet with the onions. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened.

Return the patties to the skillet and cook in the gravy for an additional 5 minutes, until cooked through.
