How To Make Chicken Soup with Cabbage

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 small head of cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 cups of chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.

Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Add the cabbage, carrots, dried thyme, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
