How To Make Spiced Slow Cooker Applesauce

Ingredients
- 8 medium-sized apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions

In a slow cooker, add the sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, water, and lemon juice. Stir to combine.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the apples are soft and easily mashed.

Using a potato masher or a fork, mash the cooked apples until desired consistency is reached.
