How To Make Tikka-style Fish

Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (such as salmon or tilapia)
  • 4 tbsp tikka paste
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine tikka paste, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.

  2. Place the fish fillets in the marinade and coat them evenly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Heat oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Place the marinated fish fillets on the hot pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice charred appearance.

  4. Transfer the cooked fish fillets to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

  5. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy!
